Hi, I’m Rosaria Chiappone, I am a qualified, accredited Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist and I work in Sandyford Wellness Centre, Dublin.
I provide a compassionate, empathetic, non-judgmental space where clients can feel comfortable to explore their issues and learn new ways of dealing with life challenges. I use an integrative approach which includes: Person-centred, Compassion Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Psychodynamic and CBT.
I believe in people’s innate ability to heal, grow and overcome blocks and issues from the past, which may be holding them back and; I strongly value the power of the therapeutic relationship as a vital component in growth and healing. I have worked with a range of clients of different ages, ethnicities and genders who have experienced difficulties such as bullying, life-stage changes, stress, relationship issues, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, bereavement and loss.
I decided to train as an Eating Freely Therapist as I have met different clients who have a very difficult relationship with food; and who have struggled all their lives to embrace themselves the way they are. I am very passionate about helping my clients not only overcome their struggles with food and body image; but also, to empower them discover their unique strengths and qualities. By learning how to be more loving and compassionate towards themselves they can achieve a meaningful and fulfilling way of life.
