The Eating Freely™ Program is an Award winning 12-week online program combining psychology with nutritional therapy designed specifically for emotional and binge eating and developed by Emma Murphy MIACP, Disordered Eating Specialist for over 12 years.

We are also delighted to be partnered with of the World’s most respected Universities – Trinity College Dublin – who are now running a long-term study on the effectiveness of our program.

When you sign up, you will be invited to participate in this research program and receive a valuable additional tool to your program, a Trinity College developed app which will help you track your food, moods, life events and how you respond (with/without food).  This app is a powerful additional tool to help keep you on track during the program.

Self Directed Option

The Eating Freely Program is a 12 Week Self-Directed Online Course which comprehensively addresses all aspects of a disordered relationship with food, setting you free from guilt and shame around food, and yourself, forever!

The course is delivered in an online, blended learning format. You will combine watching pre-recorded videos with written exercises, self-directed reading and meditations over a 12 week period to complete your comprehensive course.

CBT tools to reduce binge eating episodes immediately;

Neuroscience - to help you break all the old, unhelpful habits and autopilots your brain has stored in your unconscious. Making the unconscious, conscious, gives you CHOICE.

I'm Emma Murphy.

Hi, I’m Emma Murphy, the founder and clinical director of Eating Freely™

Eating Freely™ is a comprehensive program that I have developed over 12 years of working with women and men who struggle with food, weight, and their body image. So many of my clients were caught in a cycle of diet /crash / binge/ guilt / diet – which never achieved the permanent results they so desperately wanted – to feel comfortable in their own skin.

For 12 years I worked in private practice with clients on all parts of the disordered eating spectrum – from a 5.5 stone client with anorexia who refused to go to inpatient treatment to a morbidly obese client who had two-thirds of her stomach removed before she came to counselling, and everything in between.

Out of this experience I developed Eating Freely™, a program specifically for emotional and binge eating – by far the most common form of disordered eating around.
