Hi, I’m Louise George, originally from the North of England and living happily in Cork with my husband and our two daughters since 2007. My practice is based in Douglas, Co Cork.
My passion for working with people with food/weight and body image issues came from my own experience of having suffered from anorexia and bulimia as a teenager.
During my time in England I worked for 12 years as a Counsellor in various specialist Eating Disorders services across Merseyside. I also worked for several years as an in-house Counsellor in GP surgeries working with clients suffering from anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship issues.
Having settled in Cork, I qualified as a yoga teacher and have been teaching group classes, as well as individual yoga therapy sessions since 2010 from my own yoga studio in Douglas, Cork.
I believe that yoga is a very helpful tool for building a stronger and healthier connection between the mind and body, and I have found that yoga can also help many people with food, weight and/or body image issues increase their levels of body satisfaction and gradually reduce some of the symptoms they experience.
When I met Emma I was extremely impressed with her specialist knowledge and approach to addressing disordered eating. I had no hesitation in signing up to become an Eating Freely Therapist and returning to client work. This program is comprehensive, genuine and relatable to anyone struggling with body image or weight issues. I am thrilled to be part of the team and looking forward to bringing this program to clients in Cork who are struggling with emotional eating, binge eating or bulimia.

Hello, My Name is Andrew Morrin. As a Therapist in general practice, I have noted on many occasions an unhappiness and anxiety in many clients around food and body image!
While attending a therapy conference, I met Emma Murphy and first heard about the Eating Freely Program. I was struck by how well structured and integrated the program is. Therapists as well as Nutritional Therapists combine to present a program addressing all the issues that arise from Binge Eating Disorder and Emotional Eating. I love the idea that the program is not about losing weight in the first instance, but more importantly addressing the relationship we have with ourselves around food.
At last, a program which I believe can truly help anyone wishing to finally free themselves from Binge Eating and Emotional Eating for good.
I am based in Newlands Cross in Dublin 22.

Hi, I’m Deirdre and I am a qualified Counsellor & Psychotherapist.
I work in a integrative and person-centered way, creating a supportive and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their emotions and experiences. This safe space encourages clients to discover their internal strengths and resources.
Having completed my clinical placement training in Sandyford Wellness Centre, I was very drawn to working with Emma and her Eating Freely program, as I encountered food and body image distress regularly with my own clients. Often a client who comes to a therapist is initially seeking support for anxiety or low mood, but may then share their distress around their relationship with food and their weight/body image. I feel passionate about helping clients let go of not only their unhelpful behaviours around food, but the shame they experience as a result.
I am also a Speech and Drama Teacher for over 20 years and I bring that experience into my counselling; particularly around building self-confidence and better communication skills.

Hello, I’m Roisin Moriarty, a fully trained and accredited psychotherapist with over 10 years’ experience working with people to overcome problems, such as emotional eating, body image, low self-esteem, anxiety and addiction issues.
My passion is working with people with weight and body image issues, to help them develop a healthier relationship with food, breaking free of emotional eating, binge eating and bulimia. By incorporating practical tools, we can work to develop positive strategies for dealing with stressful and uncomfortable emotions, so you do not have to turn to food – which causes a whole other type of stress for you.
My role as an Eating Freely therapist is to help you to understand the core issues causing your emotional eating or binge eating, and to gain a greater insight into why it has continued despite your strong desire to stop.
If food is causing distress in your life or you are consumed with thoughts about weight and body image, then the Eating Freely program can support you. It offers a framework to help you overcome these concerns and develop and maintain a healthier relationship with food.
My aim is to create a safe, confidential space for clients to explore feelings and my approach is Person-Centred, with specialist training in CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy and Mindfulness. I work to empower people to overcome the obstacles and challenges that they may experience in their lives, developing self-compassion in order to move towards living a more meaningful life. I believe that a supportive and caring environment, free from judgement, is necessary for an individual to move forward and achieve their goals.

Hello, I am Denise Wogan, a Nutritional Therapist and Life Coach. I am on a mission to support people to find joy and confidence in what they eat. I help people with all sorts of complaints but focus mainly on those who struggle with digestive conditions, thyroid dysfunction and emotional eating.
My passion for working with people and what they eat has much more to do with my passion for supporting humans to feel content about food and themselves. This is what brought me to the Eating Freely Program. Upon meeting the team, I knew in my heart that this is the program I was searching for many years ago when I was vulnerable and struggling with my own eating.
My personal health journey, in which food played such a central role in was long and full of highs and lows. The Eating Freely program allows you to work on the physiological symptoms you are feeling while addressing and managing that change by digging deeper into what’s going on for you emotionally. As a self-proclaimed perfectionist, I thought I alone could support myself to wellness, however once I let go and asked for help, I learned many of the tools this program provides you with. The clever way it is set out allows you to re-learn how to make myself resilient again and to re-connect with your inner strong self. Don’t make my mistake, reach out for support, where you will learn not only WHAT to eat but HOW to eat. You’ll find yourself living a more confident, content and happier life of which food plays the part of nourishing you.
I work from Dr Sunita Ramchandran General Practice Clinic in Blackrock, Co Louth. I am also very comfortable working online which allows us great flexibility to find a time that works for you.

Hi, I’m Rachel. I am passionate about working with people with eating disorders as I have recovered from one myself. I know from personal experience how difficult it can be to “just eat”, and how the negative chatter in our head can affect our self esteem. I would often ask myself, “how can it be this difficult to do a “simple” thing like eat?!” Unfortunately, twenty years ago Eating Freely didn’t exist, so after trying numerous counsellors I finally found a CBT therapist who helped change my relationship with food forever. I strongly believe that if I can recover, so can you, and I can help you do just that.
I re-trained from my original career in Marketing, completed a degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy, and I am now qualified as a Psychotherapist. Since then I have completed specialist training in the area of eating disorders and I am delighted to be a Certified Eating Freely Therapist. I have the unique insight from being both a client and a therapist, and I know I can help you conquer this overwhelmingly difficult relationship with food…forever!
My practice is in The Dancing Soul Centre in Athlone town, and I look forward to welcoming you there.

Hi, my name is Joanne and I am an integrative and holistic psychotherapist. I work with compassion, imagination and a sense of humour while also bringing a practical mindset to our work. I was initially drawn to Eating Freely to work on my own relationship with food having finally looked back at my history and realising that dieting is a great way to gain weight! I wanted to try something different and step off the dieting rollercoaster.
The combination of practical skills and working with a therapist to explore your emotional eating triggers, your relationship with food and it’s impact on all aspects of your life is what makes Eating Freely so powerful and different to anything you’ve tried before.
Eating Freely has given me the freedom to stop viewing food as a ‘frenemy’ and to focus on what I really want – to feel healthy, happy and to start to actually truly enjoy the food I am eating. I would love to share with you all that I have learned in this programme and help you to rediscover what you truly want and what is going to get you there.
I work from two locations. The first is a private, rural setting in Killurin with free parking right outside the door. It is approximately 10 minutes from Wexford town, 15 minutes from Enniscorthy and 25 minutes from New Ross. The second location is in the Faythe, in Wexford town with free parking in the Londis car park and town bus stops nearby.

Hi my name is Sue Boad, and I am delighted you are considering the Eating Freely program!
I came to Eating Freely through working with clients with anxiety and low self esteem, and noticing how often these feelings are connected to body image and emotional eating. What I wasn’t expecting from completing the ‘Eating Freely’ training was how much my own relationship with food would change for the better!
This made me realize how powerful this program is and how it can help to uncover the unnoticed and unmet needs you are attempting to satisfy with food. We’ve all heard the ‘Eat less and move more’ philosophy, but we both know there is so much more to your eating, weight and body image than just that.
Your self-worth is so much more than the number on the scales, or on the label in your clothes. I will be your compassionate supporter, helping you to learn new skills and creating a sacred space just for you to explore your relationship with food. I know you can gain the confidence to leave the dieting world behind and move towards a healthier, happier life.

Hello, I’m Vicky Midwood, a holistic fitness health & wellness coach who finally achieved food freedom for myself in my forties after decades of helping others improve their health and relationship with their body and food, while still struggling with my own.
I personally understand the frustrations and shame of not being ‘normal’ around food and the health issues that can result after years of fad dieting, purging and using exercise or alcohol just to get through the day which means that I coach you through the steps to being able to eat freely for life with empathy and compassion.
In return I ask you to bring courage, curiosity and commitment to discovering how you can learn to eat freely for life.
To being open to trying a different way, allowing me to be your guide as you step out of the painful familiarity of food obsession and self-sabotage.
You have so much more to experience in life if you can give yourself permission to break through and break free of living every day through constant ‘live stream’ of thoughts of food rules, weight, calories , size, shape.
If you, like me can’t even imagine what that could look and feel like right now, I get it!
But if you also know that you can’t do it anymore, you are sick, tired and exhausted and are ready for change, I can tell you that with the right coaching and the right tools, in the right order, it isn’t as hard as you think it’s going to be.
And that is exactly why I love The Eating Feely program – it is the only program I have found that fully addresses nutrition and the gut-brain connection as well as all the other aspects of Bulimia, binge eating and emotional eating through solution based practical and simple steps that work.
If you are truly ready to step into a new chapter of your life and eat freely, I would love to help you.
I am based in London in the UK and work with clients 1:1 online via Zoom or Skype.

Hi I’m Julie Deuchars a qualified registered nurse for 32 years, with a diploma in health and social welfare.
I’m also a certified holistic nutritional health coach, I gained my certification from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition whose school is in New York. And Licensed Freely Eating Therapist.
I was drawn to the Eating Freely Program as an addition to my background in nursing and my training as a holistic coach.
I believe we need to bring attention to eating disorders; particularly emotional eating, binge eating and bulimia. It is something that affects both men and women almost equally. You no longer have to suffer in silence.
I want to bring awareness that your relationship to food isn’t due to having no willpower as many diet plans would have you believe. In fact, there are many multi-faceted reasons that contribute to having an eating disorder. Together, we break these reasons down and allow you to see why you do what you do. You are not broken.
I strongly believe in providing a caring, supportive, and non-judgmental approach to helping you onto your road to recovery.
I want to help you to finally find the freedom from food and live your best life you are destined for.
